Reading customer drawings and converting these in to 3D models using Gang-Nail ITW Roof Truss and Floor Joist software. Supplying quotations to customers. Follow up calls to secure orders. Checking all design work ahead of production. Putting together production packs for the factory. Speaking with an external team of structural engineers regarding steel calculations. Calling suppliers to check stock levels of timber, steel beams, Glulam beams etc. Regularly keeping customers informed with delivery dates. Speaking with planning officers and site manager to overcome any site issues.

Reading detailed drawings to price Fasteners and machined components for Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industries. Sourcing exotic materials such as Inconel and Hastelloy. Sourcing various finishing prices such as Galvanising and PTFE. Calculating material and machining prices (CNC turning and milling etc.) Reading detailed customer specifications. Liasing with the Production and Manufacturing team to generate valid lead times. Working alongside a busy Sales team in a fast paced office environment. Prioritising urgent enquiries.

UK Company entered in to Administration.Pricing UK Street Lighting PFI Tenders and other 3rd party work using AutoCAD drawings. Designing Steel Lighting Columns in accordance with EN40 taking into consideration loadings, Wind Regions and Terrain Categories. Liasing with Lighting Engineers to discuss Specifications.
