Over 25 years of experience in corporate and product communications, marketing, business development, client services and general management. Passionate about communications and branding for companies disrupting industries, leading markets and/or chasing the leaders and finding ways to disrupt.I have worked with some of the industry's most interesting companies. From cutting-edge start-ups like Iterable, Qumulo, Druva and Birst, (with whom I led Communications/PR/AR and/or Customer References efforts internally), to AppMesh, MapR, Metamarkets, Wowza Media Systems, MemSQL, and Tier 3, to impressive enterprise technology companies like Dell, HP, Sybase and Oracle. I have concentrated on corporate communications and marketing as well as working across both product and corporate communications, high-level strategic media relations and messaging work. I spent nearly five years at Bite Communications, based in Phoenix and worked mainly with clients in the Bay Area and New York. Prior to Bite, I worked at Siebel Systems for nearly two years as part of the Corporate Communications team and was with Applied Communications (public relations/communications agency in San Francisco) for four years prior to that. I started my career as a business consultant with Peterson Worldwide (now Navigant Consulting) and worked in the Construction and Government Contracts division for a little less than two years.Specialties: Primarily responsible for leading and managing corporate, social and product communications programs whether PR or AR related, strategic marketing activities, tier-one media interactions with senior executives, executive communications campaigns and strategic communications programs. Also enjoyed leading, collaborating and/or singularly running several agency searches for various companies throughout the years, working to create and execute customer reference programs, strategic social media campaigns, analyst relations programs and digital marketing campaigns.
