I've had much success in continuously analyzing the marketplace and determining the changing needs of the facility’s consumers, as indicated below:•Successfully identified the need for providing TPN (total parenteral nutrition) to residents and/or patients of Lutheran Crossings Enhanced Living at Moorestown•Successfully identified the need for accommodating patients who are at sudden risk of cardiac arrest by introducing the need to admit patients utilizing a LifeVest at time of discharge from the hospital.•Successfully identifying the need to offer free or reduced transportation to our patients and/or residents to and from Dialysis, Chemo Therapy, Radiation or Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.•Successfully implementing marketing events for the community, to include (but not limited to): Healthcare Planning and Financing, How to Choose a Facility, Safety Awareness and Mind/Body/Spirit – Fitness and Well-being for Seniors.I believe in advocating for the proper care and placement for every patient. Started as Marketing and Admissions Director as the building opened in 2000. Responsibilities included marketing the new facility, daily admissions, reporting census and tracking all referrals. Verifying and obtaining insurance authorizations and pre-certifications, as necessary. Having knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines and procedures, as well. Touring and educating potential patients/families to our building and what it and the skilled facilities offer.

Started as front desk receptionist when the building opened in 1995 and quickly moved into the role of Admissions Director, Assistant within a few months. My responsibilities as Assistant included insurance verification of Medicare, Medicaid and all secondary insurances. I also educated patients and their families on acute care rehab while touring them throughout the facility. I was quickly promoted into the role of Director of Admissions when the position became available.
