Curriculum Manager - VetGo Train Industry (Rto 20812) Jul 2021 - PresentIn 2021, my role as curriculum and content manager was made official and since then, I have taken on a more active role in the business. I am responsible for managing: our RTO Registers, training and assessment materials, all marketing materials and compliance of our student management system. This involves training and mentoring administration and curriculum team members, consulting with ARTOs and other clients, supporting Senior Management to maintain RTO compliance and working closely with our trainers and subject matter experts to deliver quality training. -
Instructional Designer & Online Training CoordinatorGo Train Industry (Rto 20812) Feb 2017 - Jul 2021I began with Go Train in February 2017 as an Instructional Designer. I was initially responsible for updating, compliance checking and contextualising training and assessment materials for various Australian Rail Transport Operators (ARTO). My role expanded in 2018, when I was asked to resurrect our E-Learning platform (Moodle) and create the ability for us to offer accredited ARTO short courses and our own signature courses online. I then managed the day to day operations of this platform, whilst continuing to design and develop paper-based training and assessment materials. In 2019, I took on further responsibilities of managing Go Train website and social media accounts and in 2020 added email marketing to this list. -
FounderRocketship Ink Mar 2015 - PresentSince 2015, I have been writing content and copy for Australian businesses. My love of finding the right words to help passionate individuals sell their skills and themselves has seen me working on projects as small as job application letters and business critical emails, to those as large as extensive SEO content generation for major real estate sites, branding and packaging copy for an international Computer Accessories company and editing and publishing a non-fiction business memoir for a Company Director. To pursue my love of words, I have continued to add new skills to my repertoire, in 2019 completing the Australian Writers Centre Features Writing Course and Masterclass, and in 2021 completing the Australian School of Copywriting suite of courses, which has enabled me to add journalistic research, interview, advertising copy and SEO copywriting skills to the work I do for businesses and thought leaders. -

Instructional Designer - Education Team NswAvana (Part Of Vocation) Apr 2014 - Nov 2015North SydneyI was asked to join the Education Team in early 2014 in a newly created role due to expansion of the business. I was eager to join this part of the business and gain skills in designing training programs. Immediately, I was given a special project with our Short Courses Team, due to my passion and knowledge for self-development and engaging team members to improve personal and business outcomes. Writing this bespoke course over a period of 4 months for Macquarie Group and CBRE to improve team engagement, individual productivity and internal customer service outcomes was enormously fulfilling for my career goals. Structural changes within Vocation, increased my client load significantly and I managed the development of resources for major client projects across Victoria. This included the coordination of deadlines, managing contract Instructional Designers, liaising with Subject Matter Experts, Trainers and Project Managers. I was also required to be the Subject Matter Expert for Retail Industry and Customer Service clients, which involved developing Training and Assessment materials for Certificate III & IV in Retail Operations.During this role, I participated in Professional Development activities to stay up to date with ASQA requirements for Validation and Moderation. In October 2014, I attended an intensive Master Class with Cathy Moore on designing Scenario Based Training, a training delivery method which is used in leading Corporate Training environments. This course gave me the ability to develop training which actively engages students to learn and gain greater knowledge retention to become competent in work skills quickly. My role changed from a full-time role to a contract position in March 2015. This enabled me to work flexible hours from home which required focus, discipline and the prioritisation skills needed to balance life and workload.
