Developing skills managing and mentoring other members of the team. Procuring and negotiating key items of mechanical and electrical plant. November 2012 – August 2013 – Affinity Water AMP5 FrameworkQuantity Surveyor – Managing through inception to completion clean water projects. Liaison with stakeholders including Client, Sub-Contractors and internal parties. May 2011 – January 2013 – Northumbrian Water AMP5 FrameworkQuantity Surveyor – Assisted in the setting up of new systems and processes following the Award of the AMP5 Framework. Whilst a similar scope of work to that of the Severn Trent AMP4, the projects on this framework have ranged from £6k to £2m required substantial organisation and management. August 2008 – September 2011 – Severn Trent AMP4 Framework.Assistant Quantity Surveyor - The AMP 4 Framework required working on several projects at one time. Managing through inception to completion of a variety of both clean and waste water projects. Projects managed ranged from £60k to £800k. August 2006 – August 2008 – A1 Peterborough to Blyth Grade Separated Junctions. Trainee Quantity Surveyor - £80 Million project involving the grade separation of 6 junctions along a 60km section of the A1 between Peterborough and Blyth. January 2006 – August 2006 – A38 Bassets Pole Junction Improvements. Trainee Quantity Surveyor - Roundabout improvement scheme on the A38 involving widening of the existing circulatory carriageway and signalisation. May 2005 – January 2006 – A5 Weeford to Fazeley Improvement Scheme. Trainee Quantity Surveyor - Working in a team of 6 on a £32 Million project. Constructing a new dual carriageway for a section of the A5 bypassing the village of Hints.
