I spent 26 yrs in the tech & ad agency spaces as a business and project mgmt leader. I’ve been an FTE and spent 11 years as a contractor. I gained a wealth of knowledge in the weeds and as a leader. I worked with incredibly smart and creative people. Yet I’ve known for years that I should be doing something else. I chose to bury that nagging feeling deep until I couldn’t hear it. Great income allowed me to do and buy what I wanted. The plan was to power through until I didn’t need to work.That nagging feeling came back in the past year. My solution was to just reformat what I do – on my schedule and across multiple clients of my choosing. Before I executed that plan, the nagging feeling became torment and was roaring at me to look deeper. So, I’m taking time to invest in me – I started a journey of personal growth, something I neglected for 10+ yrs. I’m not sure where this will take me, but I know that this time around purpose will be factored into the equation.
