My role as Digital Media Manager involves managing multiple digital platforms, including social media and websites, for a range of clients, some with international followers and reach, daily. These cover a wide range of sectors, including golf, tourism, IT, aquaculture, renewables, business, oil & gas, music and the media. Enable Scotland was founded in 1954 by five sets of parents of children who had a learning disability. They believed that their children had the same rights as everyone else. My role at Enable was to assist a select group of individuals with learning difficulties in living as independently as possible. My duties involved diary management, financial management, emotional support and daily living support.

Brown’s is a busy food and beverage chain owned by Mitchell’s and Butlers. My front of house role quickly progressed to involve events management, marketing and sales responsibilities. Brown’s was a fast-paced environment that involved communicating directly with a diverse customer base.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, my role within Lucid was solely to assist with the creation and implementation of a sales and marketing plan to aid the growth of the agency. My duties included identifying new clients, competitor analysis, creating a company style guide and developing new strategies for existing clients.

The essentiagroup provided outsource telecoms services primarily to public service contracts with some private. My role involved working towards the achievement of the business plan objectives through researching new business opportunities, competitor analysis and drafting tenders. I was also responsible for the creation and distribution of the organisation’s quarterly internal newsletter.

The Daily Record and Sunday Mail are national Scottish newspapers. Reporting to the Commercial Director my role at the Daily Record involved ensuring that the objectives of the advertising department were met by providing sales personnel with appropriate marketing materials.This involved a great detail of market research to create sales arguments for the sales team. I also maintained generic media packs and provided key market intelligence to help identify opportunities and threats in specific advertising categories.
