I’m a D.C.-based journalist and lecturer with a passion for audience engagement and digital storytelling. I am the director of the audience engagement bureau at Capital News Service, a student-powered news organization that operates out of the Philip Merrill College of Journalism. At Merrill College, I also teach a design and coding course.I was previously the deputy managing editor for digital at Education Week, where I oversaw the newsroom's digital strategy and helped guide editorial decision-making.
