While employed at AcademyOne, I have had the pleasure of acting as a software engineer on projects that have had direct value to students worldwide.During my stay, I have acted as a software engineer on a number of projects in this space, ranging from automated reverse-transfer processes to transfer-facilitation.Most notably, I have played a major role in several projects here:* A workflow for assessing prior learning, so students can gain credit for life experiences* A financial aid simulator, in order to inform students of the financial implications of their learning* A reverse-transfer process that simulates automated degree-audits, leading to students receiving Associates for courses taken at several institutions, taking equivalencies and many program options into account.

I was employed at TheCubicle.us on a contractual basis to design and build innovative software in a niche environment where I had previously gained immense domain knowledge.During my stay, I managed several projects at once, including console applications, web apps, mobile apps, in-house desktop applications, and web services. These applications were built with a modern server-side .NET stack.Several interns rotated through my department, which were quickly trained to expedite the growth of the software while allowing fresh ideas to the table.

After reading Jon Duckett's book "HTML & CSS," I reached out and requested to help edit his next book. While at PrimePay, I acted first as Software Developemnt Intern and later as Lead Developer on an aplication [ReadySetWork.com].My employment consisted largely of technology upgrades and performance enhancements to this product. Separately, I was tasked with onboarding Junior software developers into the .NET and front-end ecosystems, and managed these employees in their tasks to move a large internal codebase to a modern stack.
