Deputy Director Of Public Health Operations
CurrentDirects and oversees operations of the Agency's public health prevention, administrative, and clinical programs. Works in a cross functional roll to develop program objectives and ensures the coordination of service delivery. Works with internal and external partners to identify and address shared challenges, develop and implement joint initiatives, and ensure that the needs of clients are met in a comprehensive and coordinated manner. Maximize efficiencies through development of effective policies and procedures and clinical standards while maintaining all quality standards through ongoing evaluation and problem-solving. Responsible for the operational, strategic, and financial oversight of two Federally Qualified Health Center (LALs). Represent the Agency while meeting regularly with the Health Center Board, and other stakeholders to provide critical updates, collect feedback, and drive the operational goals of the clinics and other Public Health programs. Manage full spectrum of HR related matters involving staff including recruitment of difficult to fill positions, workforce and leadership development, mentorship, onboarding, union negotiations, personnel management, labor law compliance, and corrective actions. Oversee accreditation efforts targeted towards workforce development and compliance. Collaborate with local community partners and oversee workgroups targeted towards community development and program improvement. And, partner with other Agency Executives to implement Countywide initiatives.
