Over the past several years I have worked together with the expertise of my partner (and husband), offering freelance Architectural Services for professionals all across the United States. We both hold accredited Bachelor’s Degrees in Architecture. Along with my professional experience, my partner holds ten years experience in real estate marketing, graphic design, project management and architecture. Combined we hold over twenty years experience using Auto CAD, and six years each of using Revit, in addition to all the Adobe software for clean professional presentations, as well as a multitude of other professional rendering and design software systems. From this partnership we have recently established COVEL Studio, to offer affordable and remote Architectural services and assistance to professionals and home owners. We have a self sustained office with all the required updated and licensed software. We are currently taking on new design professionals to work with and would like to discuss your work load needs and requirements. The following is a brief description of some of the services we offer; Assistance in schematic design, space planning, material studies and the development of designs into construction documents. We use both 2D and 3D modeling to help develop designs and presentations. Also help to digitize surveyed existing conditions into computer based documents, as well as coordination of drawings with consulting engineering that maybe required, Evaluation of required municipal, state and federal standards, as well as any sustainable design considerations, Assistance in the preliminary estimates of construction costs based on the developed set of construction documents, Assemble and review contract documents, including project manuals. We also offer assistance in Construction Administrative services, processing and reviewing of shop drawings and evaluating and preparing change orders as required.

As the sole support at the office I handle all daily office management and administrative work along with project related tasks such as; Survey of existing conditions to assess extent of work; Research of material to gather and edit specifications, Assembling and coordination of the specification package and project manuals, Drafting and modeling of all construction documents from schematic design phases to construction phase, observe and document existing conditions that relate to the work, Edit and write general notes for construction, Coordinate with engineers and specialists outside the office, Address all submission review memorandums, Publish advertisements for public bid projects, Complete bid packages, Record questions at site visits, attend bid openings, Check references, Issue addendum, Handle and manage change orders, Revise and issue revision sketches, Record certifications of payments.
