Recruited by a former supervisor to join this nationwide Out-of-Home (OOH) media planning and buying service and member of the Interpublic Group of advertising, public relations and media companies. Retained through 2 major corporate restructurings; had 5 different managers in 7 years. Commended for professionalism, and positive attitude through significant turbulence in the company’s history. In 2010, OSI merged with Kinetic and the Marietta satellite office closed.Promoted to Senior Account Executive in 2006 after 3 years in other account executive positions and 6 months as a media buyer. Worked with 2 advertising agencies and more than 10 clients to plan, negotiate and complete media plans that individually ranged from hundreds to more than $1,000,000 dollars. Included traditional and nontraditional programs; e.g., cinema, airport, malls, street teams and guerrilla. Among clients were Home Depot, Chick-fil-A, Aflac and BellSouth.  Ranked among top buyers, consistently supporting a 10-state region and handling more major markets and territories than any other buyer.  Doubled the original income goal from a client challenged by economic shifts in business; created a dynamic program that was extended to twice the run time.  Routinely negotiated 20% to 45% savings for clients; corporate goal was 15%. Point-of-contact for media departments serving the Home Depot account throughout the entire United States. Influential in gaining major accounts (Georgia Power, Aflac, Haverty’s and Quitkrete) through negotiations with the advertising agency-of-record. Planned a large campaign for Kaiser Permanente; recommended a strong media mix and negotiated a package that leveraged buying power and thoroughly saturated the market.
