As a member of a small leadership team, I designed and launched the organization's education program in its entirety, including programming, operations, recruitment, people management, marketing, teaching, and curriculum design. In the early stages of the pandemic when access to social-emotional skill-building was at an all-time low, and arts organizations were struggling to keep their doors open, I designed and launched Youthquake, a year-round, K-12 theatre education program that grew to serve over 800 students with an 86% retention rate in 2 years. I honed my team-building skills while recruiting, hiring, and managing a team of 15+ contracted educators and discovered a passion for creating systems while navigating the process of writing and implementing all written procedures and policies for the education wing of the organization. Developing a summer internship in conjunction with local high schools and universities, collaborating with other organizations to create partnership programs, and designing and maintaining an overall departmental budget are other responsibilities I fulfilled in this role. The most rewarding aspect of my position at P45 was the opportunity to create a safe space for young people to process their place in the world through the magic of performance and tangible art.

Joining shortly after the acquisition, I supported the new ownership team with rebranding initiatives, including expanding the local brewery into a nationally distributed brand and adding an on-site taproom and two new restaurant concepts. In addition to conceptualizing, planning, and executing fundraisers, private parties, and company gatherings, I worked closely with concept managers and business owners to design weekly events that met their revenue goals.In this position, I expanded my marketing skills developing and implementing strategies across multiple platforms including social media, email, and local media outlets. Maintaining websites and social media accounts for three restaurant concepts, including managing shared inboxes and responding to client inquiries received via multiple avenues were also among my duties.

As a freelance theatre performer and teaching artist, I fostered engagement through educational experiences for students of all ages and skill levels. Developing curriculum, leading student productions from conceptualization to execution, liaising with students, parents, and administration to ensure academic growth, supply and production budget management, and performance evaluation are all responsibilities I held in this role. Through my philosophy of teaching life skills through creative drama, I promoted the development of social-emotional skills while encouraging an appreciation of the arts.
