Leadership of nursing staff and non-nursing personnel in two Emergency departments. Duties includes oversite of patient care, department budgets, regulatory and quality improvement audits and projects, employee engagement, and patient complaints. Responsible for coordination of both core and contract staff to cover the needs of both ERs and outreach to community partners such as law enforcement, EMS, and community Mental health providers.

Responsible for the Trauma Program for a Level IV trauma center. Ensured all regulatory requirements for a Level IV trauma center were followed. Audited all trauma charts and fedback findings to trauma team as well as the Hospital trauma committee and Area trauma advisory board on a quarterly basis. Prepared hospital for Trauma Survey and educated staff on trauma requirements and changes.Patient Experience Coordinator responded to all patient complaints, grievances, and compliments network wide to include all Inpatient and Outpatient departments and clinics. Coordinated the Network's service recovery program. Worked closely with department leads to coordinate complaint and grievance resolution.

Worked closely with Quality Assurance Nurse to ensure quality and regulatory requirements for both Hospice and Home health were followed. Assisted Executive Director with program and staffing budgets.

Responsible for all CMS and state regulatory requirements for a Home Health program. Oversite of interdisciplinary team of nurses, aides, therapists (OT, PT, and ST), and social work. Review and oversite of all Home Health clients care plans. Worked closely with quality coordinator to ensure patient satisfaction and quality standards were met by staff. Assisted Executive director in program budgeting and care reimbursement. Worked daily with staff to coordinate patient visits and ensure all tools needed to care for patients were available.

Per diem position, worked full time hours. Carried small patient case load for both home health and hospice program, developed and implemented patient care plans according to patient needs and physician orders. Coordinated Quality reports with assistance from outsourced agency. Coordinated supplies for both Home health and hospice programs. Assisted with approval and intake of new patient referrals for both programs.
