I graduated from law school and couldn’t figure out how to use the law to enforce or not to enforce certain education policies. I am using film as a form of advocacy to hold people accountable to schools.I’m an educator, author, and filmmaker who is currently directing and producing a documentary, Robbed: A Mother’s Rebirth. When a mom enrolled her daughters into her parents’ school district she unknowingly committed a crime which triggered the fight of her life when she was jailed.I am the founder of School Dismissed, a film production company that bridges education, film, and law. I’ve taught across the United States and in Japan and Kuwait.
