In this role, I am responsible for the implementation of the JDA's strategic plan and achieving its goals in partnership with the Board of Directors, stakeholder groups, and partners organizations. The Walsh County Job Development Authority explores new business development opportunities; assists existing businesses with expansion and succession plans and talent recruitment and retention; supports local community development efforts; and provides finanical and technical assistance to develop and implement community and economic development projects.

In this role I champion workforce development and retention initiatives and projects in rural Region 4 of North Dakota, executing necessary tasks to ensure success. The position includes collaboration with North Valley Career and Technology Center to lead K-12 career exploration projects and events for youth in the region.
