• In May 2009, transferred within company from HR Director at Zions Bank Idaho to Corporate Human Resouces Manager, VP with California Bank & Trust, an affiliate of Zions Bancorporation.

Boise, Idaho Area

• Promoted and relocated to Idaho to create a new HR Director position reporting directly to Zions Bank President and CEO.• Lead and directed all aspects of Human Resources including; recruiting, on-boarding, employee relations, compensation, performance management, counsel and guidance to managers for coaching and employee relations, escalated employee relations, investigations, unemployment claims and hearings, legal compliance, training, benefit meetings, competency based Human Capital Plan, employee engagement survey and analysis, turnover, exit interviews, and metric reports.• Built strong relationships with local Regional Teams and Bank Executives. Worked collaboratively to create and implement programs to recognize and reward Idaho employees, support and strengthen company culture, improve employee engagement, develop short and long term strategies to meet Bank initiatives and goals. • Presented Idaho results quarterly to Bank President and Executive Management Teams. Participated in quarterly HR Director Meetings with Corporate HR Director and affiliate bank HR Directors. Member of the Corporate HR Steering Committee. Greater Salt Lake City Area

• HR Business Partner for three Retail Bank Regions which included 69 retail branches throughout the state of Utah, three Regional Management teams and over 700 employees. HRBP for several Senior and Executive Vice Presidents for Zions Bancorporation and their corporate departments. Additional departments were 44 in total with over 400 employees and included Corporate Audit, Finance, Corporate Security, Accounting, Public Finance, Corporate Compliance, Trust, Zions Direct and Investments; many with locations in several states. Later worked with the Private Services, Private Banking, Executive Banking, and Commercial Banking Business Lines.• Built strong working relationships with executives, managers, key business line leaders and employees. Worked with leaders to define needs and objectives for each division in such areas of employment, affirmative action, compensation, employee development, employee retention, counseling and terminations.• Trained, coached and assisted managers in best practices in the resolution of complex employee issues to mitigate risks. Made recommendations to executives and managers and/or handled employee relation issues including coaching, disciplinary actions, investigations, suspensions and terminations for the divisions I supported. • Developed/co-developed and facilitated training for managers and employees. • Responsible for all aspects of Human Resources in the Salt Lake Customer Call Center, staffed with an average of 600 employees.• Planned, developed and monitored programs, policies and procedures in the areas of recruitment, selection, payroll, compensation, benefits, incentive plans, retention, employee relations and organizational development.• Created and implemented all HR functions and tracking systems for center to increase efficiency and productivity of HR department. • Developed & implemented a successful hiring and training process which helped to address diversity and turnover issues. Company received annual award in September of 2000 from Salt Lake County Aging Services in recognition of the program. Nominated by (Salt Lake City) Green Thumb, Inc. for National Prime Time Employer for the Year.• Facilitated the closing of the center in October 2001. Handled notifications, Q & A meetings, managed the final months of the center in the absence of a center Director, provided and collected Release and Waivers from over 400 employees. Remained on for several months as the last employee in Salt Lake to physically close down the building and resolve any displaced employees’ issues.
