I love the thrill of starting a new project, learning new tasks, implementing new ideas and seeing them through to completion. Tackling new challenges and developing new projects are a passion for me. My desire and ability to learn quickly are two of my greatest personal strengths.I understand that though learning is important, ultimately it is about results. I enjoy seeing the results of my work and how it plays a part in the bigger picture, benefiting the individuals of central Kentucky. There is satisfaction in knowing someone is inspired, educated, or motivated to take action through the work I have done. Creation and organization are my motivators. Turning design into functional work - developing a plan, writing a grant, creating outreach materials, a training class, a policy or procedure - these things create positive change.I'm a people watcher and more importantly a people listener. Learning about individual motivations and communication styles opens doors to creating great teams and successful businesses/organizations. Engaging the customer, identifying their needs, barriers, and goals and creating a plan, policy, procedure or training based on numbers and names, analytics and anecdotal, facts and faces for workforce development to be successful it requires a complete picture. I love what I do, creating and assisting in the implementation of plans and strategies to improve the lives of people in need is more than a career its at the very root of how I think. Understanding the audience, the customer, and the goal is vital to successful communication, planning, and policy development. My goal through employment is to provide innovative and productive planning, strategy, policies, marketing, and trainings that create a successful outcomes for the customer and my organization/employer.
