Northern New Mexico is my home and where I've worked as a community journalist and editor for more than two decades. I've covered everything from hunters spotting aliens to nuclear waste at Los Alamos National Laboratory. My special interest has been covering climate change and the myriad solutions possible through green building, regenerative agriculture and renewable energy. As part of digital teams at a daily and a weekly newspaper, I helped manage web sites, social media posts, email platforms and video production. As a reporter, my beats have encompassed environment, health, courts, water rights, energy, public lands, outdoor activities, veterans, and state and federal governments. My daughter grew up in the newsroom, often sleeping under my desk while I was madly writing stories. I'm practicing multimedia and website building skills with a goal to expand my storytelling abilities on different platforms.
