Staci Scott is a Director at KPMG in the Cayman Islands with more than a decade of experience across the ESG and financial services sectors in the Caribbean and North America. As part of KPMG’s regional ESG team, she specializes in sustainability reporting and assurance; ESG strategy development and risk assessment; and finance for good; among other ESG topic areas.Staci is a US Certified Public Accountant and was previously a senior manager within KPMG’s asset management audit group, responsible for assessing the financial reporting and disclosures of Cayman-registered funds managed by two of the world’s largest investment managers (top 50 by AuM). She has also worked with operating companies, private trusts, not-for-profit entities, and multi-lateral organizations, including a secondment to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2020, where she worked to project manage UNESCO’s 150-member Global Education Coalition in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.Staci regularly presents to regional stakeholders on sustainability reporting standards and their anticipated impact, including presentations in the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, The Bahamas, and Trinidad & Tobago. She is also a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants’ ESG committee, 100 Women in Finance, and KPMG in the Cayman Islands’ Corporate Citizenship and Inclusion Diversity and Equity committees.
