An action-oriented and motivated mind-set was needed to implement software and create a workflow to make this department an asset to the membership and suppliers. Daily work includes onboarding and user training, gathering and enriching product data, using advanced formulas and SQL to manipulate the data, and following up with data quality checks and analysis.

Managed the central billing process through daily batch auditing, account research and resolution, statement reconciliation, and resolution of charge-backs and disputed issues for over 400 suppliers. The accounting department at Mid-States handles over $1 billion in central billings over the course of a year making accuracy, time management, and effective communication top skills of their employees. Special projects included assisting our Staff Accountant with general ledger reconciliations, tracking and generating quarterly rebates distributed to the membership, as well as cash application for Accounts Receivable.
