I currently teach at Pierce Middle School in Grosse Pointe Public Schools where I teach Broadcast Journalism and Drama. I also direct several school and community theatre productions, as well as organize and coordinate several large school functions and fundraisers each year. On an average day I manage 120 students while they create, produce, film, and edit a daily live broadcast and a monthly half hour long TV special for the school to view. I also teach 7th/8th grade drama classes, direct/choreograph school plays and musicals, as well as a summer theatre camp. I maintain grades, parent contact, and communication to the entire school community on a daily basis. Prior to teaching at Pierce, I taught at Grosse Pointe North High School. While there I taught acting, dance, public speaking, and some English courses. I also directed/choreographed three high school theatre productions per year for five years. I have been praised by parents, colleagues, and administrators for my creativity, organization, and dedication to students and the fine arts.

Greater Detroit Area

I began performing as a child and continued my studies in voice, acting, and dance through college. I have performed on a variety of professional theatre stages in Metro Detroit as an actress and singer. I have also appeared in many commercials, voiceovers, and print ads that have aired throughout the Metro Detroit and Northern Ohio regions. As a director and choreographer, I have worked on productions in several public school systems in the Detroit area, as well as in several professional theatres in the area. For the past four years, I have directed and choreographed the Grosse Pointe War Memorial Summer Theatre Camp where I produce a full musical production with sixty 8-12 year old in eleven days with full costumes, props, and sets. The training and skills I have obtained as an actress have contributed to my confidence as a public speaker and presenter.
