My job as a director for a small nonprofit enables me to wear many hats and utilize a variety of skill sets. My responsibilities allow me to cast a vision for Fortress Youth Development Center's future, while igniting passion about the work we do currently. I am blessed to be able to put my creative talents to use every day for an organization whose mission I am profoundly passionate about. Development: grant writing, event planning, fundraising, campaign design and management, donor relations.Communications: brand development, graphic and typographical design, creative writing, editing, public speaking, social media, media relations.Nonprofit management: research and design of new programs, volunteer management, community outreach, creative projects.
