Ran a few small projects to transition day to day work from MIS to Operations, including the creation of project documentation, facilitation of training, and final documentation. Responsible for maintaining user roles and access. Currently working on report creation (both interim and long term), including requirement gathering and documentation. Responsible for business resiliency planning and documentation.

Modeled new processes and work flows using webMethods proprietary Designer application. Met with clients on site to gather business requirements, which were used to create Statement of Work documents to bid for projects. Created documentation on best practices for requirement gathering and testing.

Worked on the redesign of the internal processing system, including gathering requirements, testing, and participating in both system planning meetings as well as system presentations to the business, and created functional requirement specifications. Worked most closely with testing, from creating the test plans to testing new functionality prior to release, through to tracking defects to resolution.

I held a few positions at National City and earned two promotions and an officer appointment in my five plus years with the company. Began as a commitment desk clerk and within eight months was promoted to Account Executive, responsible for client relationships. Learned to think on my feet, look at a problem from not only my perspective, but also the client's perspective, and honed my presentation skills. Moved to the role of Business Analyst in the redesign of both the internal operating system and external website. In addition to requirement gathering, prioritization, and system functionality development, used my presentation skills while facilitating meetings, and learned valuable lessons on building consensus and keeping the participants on the task at hand. As the project design finished, transitioned to a role that allowed me to continue testing defects, and to focus on getting the clients and internal employees trained and ready for the new functionality.

These positions allowed me to hone my eye for detail. Received my first taste of helping to design and test a new operating system. First opportunity to create documentation and act as a trainer.
