Relocated back to my home town to give back to the community I grew up in. Mental Health Therapist working with mostly Medicaid clients of all ages and backgrounds to receive well rounded experience as a therapist while completing my 3000 hours of supervision for LPC. Completed full licensure for LPC July 2024.
The Hancock Center was a busy private practice that employed 3 full time therapist and a part-time psychologist. I performed a dual role as both office manager and therapist taking care of all office billing & coding, phone & scheduling, and other office related tasks while completing my internship and practicum for my masters in mental health counseling. The Hancock Center owner & head therapist retired & the center closed its doors in Fall of 2021.
Completed all office related duties from billing & coding, answering phones and scheduling, records keeping, and ordering supplies. Also a chiropractic assistant, performing patient therapies and reviewing nutrition through diet, exercise, vitamins & supplements. I loved this job but had to leave when I chose to go back to school for my masters degree.
