I manage a team of four as the clerical support unit for the claims department. We manage the file room, maintain claims file through hardcopies as well as imaged files. We copy files, retrieve files , manage the mail and distribute accordingly .We image paperwork, assist in maintain faxes electronically and complete other tasks as requested. I maintain communication with our sister companies as well as the Hartford. I manage my team's workflow, PTO, sick time and their overall daily functions. I interact with upper management and even more the entire claims department associates treating them as my in house customers. Acting with urgency and attention to every detail to make sure they have what they need from a support perspective in order for them to do their daily tasks. I believe in dedication to team and company and I try to maintain morale and a up beat attitude. Some days better than others.
