Hello! I have twenty years in the restaurant industry, and seven as a cleaning business owner. I believe that team work is the key to success. To tell you a little about myself and my business. I have lived in Florida most of my life and have worked in the hospitality industry for over twenty years. Starting my first restaurant job as a busser at Leverocks to a line cook at Macaroni grille, Friendly Fisherman, and V.I.P. on treasure island. I eventually wanted to grow my future and decided to start a business. I ended up after a few endeavors cleaning condos to focus my energy on cleaning restaurants. My first two restaurant accounts I started with were Friendly Fisherman and Leverocks because of my past work with them. It did not last because I did not have enough experience. But after that I decided to work with a company name immaculate reflections because they subcontracted work to me and I could grow my business knowledge without quitting my business. I worked there for about three years and the accounts were all seven days a week with only one day off in a year. At that time I worked for all different types of restaurants to include glory days, Charlie’s steakhouse, Oxford exchange, Cracker Barrel, and Pollo tropical. I have since been able to merge away from them and now have my own accounts to include O’Maddy’s in Saint Pete and Feeding Tampa Bay in Tampa to name a few. My experience in the restaurant involves cleaning hoods and vents, floors, windows and bathrooms. We also clean carpets, strip and wax floors, and offer fogging sanitization with vital oxide which is a chemical that doesn’t need to be wiped off of food contact surfaces after sprayed, which helps re-contamination. We are fully licensed bonded and insured with $3 million worth of insurance. To sum it up I would say I have put in the hard work to figure out this business and how to operate it without people working seven days a week and the customer excepting less than perfect results with subcontractors. I don’t use subcontracts. All my employees start at $16 an hour and can make a bonus based on a quality score survey that we ask you to participate in once a week (or a manager) to help us know how we are delivering our services to you.
