Stacy Kelley draws on over twenty years exhibiting the work of artists and designers in collaboration with design leaders and cultural institutions through experiential, interdisciplinary formats, including public art and community programming. In 2019, Stacy helped Mingei International Museum and a founding team launch San Diego Design Week, directing the community-driven event in 2020 and 2021. An annual five-day series of events around the region, San Diego Design Week was established to provide a platform for interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration around design and became part of the network of World Design Weeks, which includes Design Weeks in over 40 cities around the world. She currently serves as Director of Art & Partnerships at Unfold Development, connecting artists with projects rooted in regenerative design and development.Stacy served as a Designer in Residence at UCSD Design Lab to develop strategies for regional community engagement around design and contributes as an advisor to Tijuana Design Week. Stacy is also co-founder of Here & There / Aquí y Allá — in collaboration with Katalina Silva of Enigma Creative — a design residency based in San Diego and Tijuana to create a bridge across borders, both geographical and between disciplines, to create opportunities for learning, empathy, and cross-cultural and interdisciplinary exchange. Stacy is a member of New York based Female Design Council, an action-oriented leadership organization dedicated to providing a strong professional community for all womxn in the design industry.
