Early Assessment And Support Alliance (Easa) Peer Specialist For Young Adults And Their Families
I work with young adults ages 13-26 who have experienced their first onset of mental illness. I support them and their families by aiding their transition into adult life. Many of the young adults I work with are seeking employment or schooling. I share my experiences and coping skills with the families and peers to better equip them for the journey. I lead family groups, mental health support groups, facilitate meetings and work one-on-one with my peers out in the community inspiring them to take steps towards their overall wellbeing.
