* Providing daily husbandry and care of animals such as feeding, watering, cage and bedding changes* Manage and maintain breeding colonies* Performing daily health monitoring (examination of animals for signs of illness, injury and/or behavioral changes) for protection of animals* Maintaining related equipment, rooms, halls and facility properly by cleaning and sanitizing as required* Maintain an ample supply of clean caging and bottles for cage exchanges* Observe environmental conditions of animal facility and animal rooms* Receiving and processing of animals and supplies such as feed, bedding, Anipads, etc.* Verifies, tracks and reports animal numbers and locations* Euthanize animals in accordance with AVMA guidelines and prepare carcasses for disposal.* Perform cage washings as necessary* Perform regular maintenance on cage washer and bottle filler* Maintain adequate stock levels of all support areas and animal rooms with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), extra caging, etc.* Performs regular planning of resources and capacities to meet facility and function needs* Work with facilities and contractors to maintain animal facilities and equipment* Maintain compliance with SOPs, protocols and other guidelines such as occupational health and safety* Participation in developing and modifying standards and guidelines and reinforces appropriate behaviors* Train students in animal care and handling* Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Good oral and written communication skills, Proactively identify and resolve potential problems, Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform all necessary duties., Able to remain on feet for prolonged periods, Effectively manage own time, Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel,

-Temp for The College of William & Mary-File tax forms and Payroll Deduction forms-Input tax deductions- Distribute W2s and request duplicate W2s for employees as needed-Maintain International Student forms-Secretarial

-Check guests in and out-Take reservations-Run Cash Drawer-Run nightly audit-Set up Continental Breakfast-Schedule Wake up calls
