As the Area Director for Midtown West, I trained and managed volunteer leaders, planned weekly events, shared vision through various platforms (social media, speaking engagements and community board meetings), created innovative opportunities for student engagement, maintained top tier donor relationships, raised $35,000 of personal support, oversaw logistics, planning, and execution of overnight camp experiences and, facilitated safe spaces for adolescents to connect with caring adults, process their emotions, and develop their fullest potential.

As a Staff Associate II, my mission field expanded to include Hell’s Kitchen and my responsibilities and achievements included: completion of Leadership I and Leadership II training, building a successful church partnership, securing local board members, recruiting and developing volunteer leadership, and fundraising.

When promoted to a full time position as Staff Associate I, these are the responsibilities added and achieved in addition to those listed in the previous role: secured 30,000 by the end of fiscal year 16/17, developed relationships with key adults, was the Wyldlife team leader, trained volunteer leaders, and led three successful camp trips.

In a part-time capacity, my role as Mission Staff primarily served as the Team Leader for the Young Life club in Chelsea. My responsibilities included: raising $10,000 of personal support, praying for the area, caring for volunteer leaders on the team and, sharing vision and strategy for future ministry with the current Area Director.
