I am actively working towards my CTP designation with my test date in the June/July 2013 window. I have many daily responsibilities that include producing the daily cash positioning for Alliance Data and investing funds at the parent level and for our Canadian line of business (portfolios are 100mm and 500mm respectively). I also help facilitate many other treasury transactions such as ACH and FEDwire transactions. Some current projects I have been involved with include a corporate banking restructure as well as the facilitation of requests for proposals. These RFPs will assist in streamlining our bank accounts as well as having continuity across all lines of business and with their banking needs.My day to day responsibilities also include bank account management, banking relationships, and liaising with our various lines of business to ensure their needs are being met with our banking products.

The majority of my work consists of accounting and patient billing. I am responsible for ensuring accurate billing for medicare, medicaid, and private insurance residents. I review four bank accounts on a daily basis for cash posting and management. I utilize Peachtree Accounting Software to balance these four bank statements, to make adjustments to the general ledger and for reviewing accounts payable functions.
