• Supervisory responsibilities: Formulating department goals, strategies, operating policies/procedures and implementing approved changes. Personnel recommendations regarding scheduling, promoting, salary changes and terminating. Ensuring department productivity levels are maintained by monitoring staff and financial requirements. Responsible for coaching, training and motivating employees to reach optimum performance levels. • Reporting: Providing month end collection status reports for all outstanding loans and credit cards including recoveries, student loan, first mortgages, business and quarterly call reports. • Collections: Making calls, sending letters and emailing members to determine reason for delinquency. Review, determine and execute appropriate collection action to bring account back to good standing by; skip tracing, repossession, legal action, possible hardship/modification eligibility and/or other collection action. Handle bankruptcies, attend hearings and work with trustees when necessary. Answer and instruct staff with elevated collection questions and issues. Recommend and process charge offs. Keep collection notes and documentation. Maintain good member service and member relationships.• Post Charge-off: Prepare accounts for 3rd Party collection Agency and monitor post charge off payments and arrangements. • Deceased Members: Monitor and clear outstanding debts and file claims in probate when necessary. • Risk Management: Review new membership applications. Work closely with police, attorney and insurance company to reduce fraud losses. Review, note and house SAR’s. Review denied loan reports for potential risk.• Insure compliance for Credit Bureau reporting and dispute responses. Monitor, add and remove auto insurance policies on active loans to adhere to loan agreements.

Achieving significant reduction in the percentage of delinquent accounts and provided backup to the Asset Recovery/Lending Manager.
