I am a positive and enthusiastic leader and collaborator. I consistently embrace change to drive improvement and am passionate about innovation. It is my goal to support others and to achieve individual and team goals.I believe in human centered design in leadership: gaining empathy to understand people and challenges before developing/prototyping solutions. Finding the right solution to the right problem is key to success.A seasoned educator, I have 31 years of experience in learning with people. My strengths include exemplary communication skills, change management, innovative problem solving/design thinking, and facilitating adult learning. I believe these are transferable skills that can add value in any organization.Serving as a school principal for 15 years has provided me with a plethora of experiences in the areas of strategic planning, human resources management, curriculum design, planning and leading professional development, culture building, staff evaluation and fiscal responsibility, along with a good bit of crisis management. I am looking forward to applying my skills in a new environment while continuing to learn with and from others.
