Position is part of the Regression QA team which is part of the Production Support team.* The Production Support team pushes out a maintenance release every two weeks for defect fixes and minor feature requests.* Production Support team receives defects from the customer support teams. The QA role on this team involves reproducing customer issues in a maintenance branch test environment so that a developer can debug the issue. Document the exact reproducible steps in the test environment for the developers.* Test defect tickets for maintenance releases* Oversee the list of tickets being promoted in a maintenance release to ensure that they were appropriately tested prior to promotion to production.* Writing regression test plans for major releases* Oversee the regression test effort for all modules at the end of each major release cycle using risk based test analysis to prioritize the test week.
