I oversee the strategy and implementation of Northern Trust's trust services across the country.

As the Trust & Advisory Practice Executive for the Central Region (encompassing Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Missouri, Minnesota and Wisconsin), I oversee all aspects of our fiduciary practice, including risk management, business growth, personnel and account acceptance. I work closely with our experienced fiduciary personnel in our various markets to provide exemplary service to all of our clients and their professional advisers. I also oversee the delivery of our estate settlement services nationally, working closely with our regional managers in Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago.

As manager of estate settlement, I managed our risk management and account acceptance process. I worked closely with our professional staff to handle issues that arose in various accounts. I also oversaw our national process for handling the issues presented by the tax uncertainty and ultimate changes for 2010. Finally, I continued to handle large complex estates personally.

As an associate, I drafted all types of estate planning documents for a wide variety of clients. I also handled our probate and estate settlement issues.
