My professional experience began as the Training Center Coordinator at Cummins Southern Plains LLC. in Arlington, Texas. After 2 years I decided it was time to step out of my comfort zone and pursue a career with a smaller family owned business. I became an Executive Assistant to the CEO and CFO of Sam's Furniture & Appliance, LLC. My ongoing eagerness to learn and mastery of the Executive Assistant Role I was promoted into the Human Resource Manager/Generalist for Sam's Furniture & Appliance. After 5 wonderful experienced filled years of service with Sam's Furniture I was pursued by Parkland Health & Hospital System. The job offered was a Coordinators position, and even though it was a step down, the Coordinator position would be a stepping stone. I accepted the position as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for Parkland Health & Hospital System and within a year was promoted to a Talent Acquisition Partner running the hospitals Nurse Residency Program. I am proud to have served the Dallas County Hospital and with pride I walked away knowing that I made a difference to the Dallas Community by not only centralizing the Nurse Residency Program, but by helping new grads jump into their well deserved new exciting careers. At that time I decided to step away from the hospital setting and on a leap of faith and I decided to join the TOP Construction Industry in Texas. TDIndustries! Although my time was brief at TDIndustries, I left making an impact and definitely gained some development and growth with this amazing company. Even though I jumped out on a leap of faith, I quickly notice Healthcare is where I belong. Needless to say, I am so grateful to be back in the Health Care setting. Cheers to the future!
