I work in the accounts department taking care of the day to day running of two companies accounts. I am responsible for inputting all purchase invoices into SAGE, inputting and allocating all payments that are made and received on the system, raising cheques for all our suppliers and chasing outstanding sales invoices for both companies. I have to do monthly cash books, print out all sales invoices on a weekly basis and then post/email them out to customers once they have been approved by the sales reps.

I processed all invoices that were received from hotels that were been paid for on the company credit card, processed these in SAGE and then sent out a Sales Invoice to the customer and a Comission Invoice to the hotel.I had to match any Purchase Orders that came in to the relevent booking and make sure they were sent for scanning.I also had to call suppliers for any missing invoices, query any charges that did not match up to the system and request refunds for charges that should not have incurred.I had to answer the telephone in a proffesional manner and answer any queries our suppliers or customers may have had. I also checked their accounts on SAGE, put them on the relevent BACS runs, requested statements, reconciled them and requested copies of any invoices that we did not have on our system.

I worked on the front tills serving customers and helping them with all aspects of their banking needs. I was also the bankage officer which requires me to be in charge of the safe and its contents which shows a high level of reliability as there was often large sums of money and customers account kept locked away in the safe. I was the PRIDE rep for our branch and had to keep morale and enthusiasm high and request weekly nominations for collegues who showed "PRIDE" like behaviour.
