I am closely interact with the Senior Estimators. I am also responsible for tracking, organizing and administering all aspects related to estimating activities and people.Essential functions & responsibilities include the following:• Prepare cost estimates and price quotations for Protective Coating Experts (PCE) projects including estimating handling and logistics costing for coating projects.• Responsible for data entry, maintenance, validation and monthly reconciling of the Protective Coatings Experts Quoted Projects spreadsheet.• Responsible for generating, interpreting, and printing various assigned reports.• Provide back up on leads processing and entry when primary leads processing person is out of office.• Documents work by maintaining files for each job.• Responsible to begin gaining the industry knowledge sufficient to prepare estimates and proposals for less complicated services and all aspects of Commercial Small Equipment. Create detailed cost estimates including scope definition, exceptions/exclusions, and vendor/sub-contractor quotes.• Communicates effectively with other team members concerning project management process.• Focus on improving processes to add efficiency to daily activities while maintaining quality requirements.• Maintain current knowledge of industry and products.• Actively support company goals both departmentally and organizationally.• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.• Give necessary attention to accuracy and detail.• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products with emphasis on Word and Excel.• Responsible for additional assignments as requested by Estimating Supervisor.
