I began working at Dollar Bill Copying part time in 1988, to help pay for school. When I graduated from UM, with a BGS, I worked full-time and had become an integral part of the core Dollar Bill team. Over the years, I have held every position at Dollar Bill, from customer service to managing the entire store. My love of people and uncommon problem-solving ability inevitably moved me toward sales. Now I use my intimate knowledge of Dollar Bill’s systems and capabilities to help my clients plan and design their projects so they can be completed accurately, efficiently and always on-time. My customer service skills are top-notch; I have current customers that have been with me for over 25 years! My role as Sales and Marketing Manager has continued to increase sales, retain customers and lead to increased profits every year.Non-profits and giving back to the community are very important to me. I hold many board positions for local non-profits which helps me grow personally as well as helps them. I am the secretary for LA2M, a local marketing group that provides monthly education for marketing issues. University Event Planners (UEP) is another organization that I am very actively involved, I am the VP so I over-see the annual education conference as well as plan the monthly meetings, and play an integral role on the sponsorship committee. Next, The United Way, Power of the Purse, a yearly event I play a supporting role for getting local businesses to donate purses, sponsorships and prizes to support women. Finally I am on the board of WXW as the sponsorship chair, a local business group to educate and help women in business. In addition, I ensure that non-profits are supported by in-kind donations and discounts for printing services through Dollar Bill.
