As Executive Director of Building Transparency, I am committed to accelerating a sustainable future through data-driven solutions and transparency. With over two decades of environmental leadership, I currently have a keen focus on helping organizations reduce embodied carbon and improve environmental performance across the lifecycle of construction projects. At Building Transparency, I lead the development of the EC3 Tool (Embodied Carbon in Construction Calculator), an open-source platform and database that enables the building industry to make informed, actionable decisions about reducing embodied carbon in construction materials, as well as Tally, a whole building life cycle assessment tool. These tools are helping reshape how stakeholders—from architects to contractors—evaluate and reduce the environmental impact of their projects. My career spans a diverse range of roles, from sustainability strategy and policy advocacy to hands-on project implementation. I’ve worked with leaders in the built environment to shape cutting-edge solutions for carbon reduction, sustainable design, and green building practices. Throughout my career, I’ve been recognized for my ability to drive collaboration and innovation across sectors, empowering organizations to achieve meaningful sustainability outcomes. In addition to my leadership role at Building Transparency, I am a frequent speaker and advocate for sustainability and climate action, and sit on multiple advisory committees to promote harmonization and alignment to further positive impact. I am passionate about fostering a collaborative, transparent approach to creating a more resilient and sustainable future for our industry and the planet.Let’s connect to discuss how we can work together to build a more sustainable world through better transparency and smarter decision-making.
