I currently work as the Human Resources Business Partner at Schneider Electric. I love my role and the impact I get to have on people and in the manufacturing world. I bring a unique perspective to this role as I spent my first two years with Schneider as a manufacture supervisor. I believe this gives me a unique production viewpoint. During my time at SE I have been able to take on many projects such as the Hub Manager, Learning Champion of the plant, serving as co-president on the board of Women in Schneider Electric at the Lexington site and most recently being the foundation liaison focusing on non -profits. I love the challenge of learning something new and growing my skill set. I am very detail focused and consider myself a motivated, organized, and personable individual. I have communication and leadership skills as well as experience with training and development. I have two master’s degrees from Eastern Kentucky University, one in teaching and one in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. My I/O degree includes a background in training and development, program evaluation, statistical analysis, cognition in the workplace, and employee management, while my teaching degree affords me the knowledge of working with a diverse range of people, creating lessons/trainings, and developing communication and leadership skills.
