Human Resources Generalist
Current• Support business units and subsidiaries across all U.S. operations• Direct recruiting process for all open positions, including preparation of written job descriptions and assessment of position classification and salary range, postings for various positions, candidate search and outreach, managing resumes, interview process, etc.• Perform day-to-day HR activities (employment relations and discipline matters, performance management, compensation/benefits, employee engagement, employee development, position changes, changes in duties, comp changes, investigations, etc.)• Facilitate and advise on all HR programming (goal-setting, performance-reviews, talent-planning, salary-planning, etc.)• Interface with our PEO on the delivery of standard, consistent HR processes, and talent and training activities for employees and managers• Consult with management and legal department regarding discipline matters, providing advice and counsel to management regarding appropriate progressive discipline, attend disciplinary meetings, when appropriate, and facilitate terminations• Provide recommendations and work collectively with legal and/or the CFO on employee complaints in a timely manner • Maintain employee files; interface with our PEO for processing and reporting to ensure all HR records and postings meet all federal, state, and local requirements• Foster and maintain positive relationships with management, employees, and PEO, and between management and employees; promote employee engagement initiatives, communication programs, recognition systems, and retention strategies• Provide training on existing programs, new programs, and policy changes• Perform payroll processing tasks with CFO
