I had the privilege of Directing the 2015 Austin Earth Day Festival held at Mueller Park on April 18th, 2015. My role included working with the City of Austin in securing proper event permitting, working with Austin Fire Department to comply with safety regulations, securing cash & in-kind sponsorships from corporate, nonprofit, and media entities, booking all entertainment and distinguished speakers, building out the "Kid's Zone" activities, recruiting vendors and exhibitors, recruiting local, popular food trucks, and assuring a well-attended event.
