In this position, I review, select, and purchase all the adult nonfiction materials for KDL's 20 branch library system, including print, audiobooks, large print formats and provide the Local Indie collection of Michigan authors, musicians, and videographers, and allocate material among branches. I also manage a budget of over $400,000 and maintain accurate records of all library transactions. A big part of my job is to listen to county citizens' requests and sourced materials to meet current needs, drive curiosity, and support learning based on each geographical location.
