I am a land use partner who helps clients build communities. I focus my land use practice in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, where I assist clients in navigating the complexities of securing the necessary approvals for their projects at the local and state levels of government. Focusing on urban redevelopment near transit, I help my clients with residential, mixed-use, senior housing, institutional, office and retail projects. One my clients refers to me as "Madame Ambassador" because of my firm but respectful way of advocating for my clients and building coalitions. For over twenty years, I have served as an adjunct professor at The George Washington University Law School, where I teach a land use course. I am involved in many pro-bono and professional associations, including serving on the Board of Directors for NAIOP DC/MD (where I Chair the Advocacy and Leadership Committees). I serve as a juror for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Terwilliger Center for Housing's Annual Housing Awards, and serve on ULI's National Urban Revitalization Council.
