This is a passion project, my daughter became very ill, it required a lot of research, work, and commitment to get bring her back to health. We found that not only was food an issue, gluten became an enemy too. We had to learn to fuel our bodies in a different way which is how we began our journey from vegetarianism to veganism. As a labor of love, I had to learn to cook with unfamiliar ingredients and along the way realized, we could still enjoy comfort food with a few tweaks here and there. Brought on to build the human resource department, to develop policies, and procedures for three locations. Introduced recognition programs, and the I Matter profit-sharing plan. Created, and facilitated leadership training for store, and department managers.

Served as a trusted business partner on the Executive Leadership team. Established a strong Human Resources department to provide support to 86 internal employees, 240 domestic franchise owners, and contract workers. Built credibility and trust by providing sound guidance, support, and strategic contributions. Led large-scale HR intitiaves including organizational design. Created high-level HR strategies in training, employee engagement, recognition, transformed culture, reduced turnover, developed succession plans, and enhanced employee lifecycle experience. Developed revenue-generating recruiting program. Content creator and facilitator of monthly HR trainings, conferences and retreats.

Established the Human Resources department for a newly formed national mortgage company initially consisting of 20 employees with growth bringing us to 900+ during my tenure. The company was licensed in 47 states requiring remote human resources work, knowledge and coaching of employees with respect to various states and applicable law. Served on the Executive Team as the expert on human resources, established key policies and procedures, handbooks and training. Responsible to build, develop and enhance culture through the recruitment of highly skilled talent. Created and conducted virtual and onsite trainings as part of the onboarding program for new branch partners. Coached and counseled remote employees working in branches located across the nation.Assisted branch partners with sourcing, recruiting and onboarding efforts of 75 employees per day for over a year during the company's first and largest growth period. Assisted in the termination of loan officers and staff members in branch locations.
