Ms. Surla recently led the project team standing up the Customer Experience Center of Excellence for GSA and the Office of American Innovation. She's past manager of User Experience for ICF’s government division. She is an adjunct professor at Maryland University’s iSchool, and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Information Architecture. She is a twice-elected past officer of the Information Architecture Institute, a published author, and frequent speaker at user experience conferences.
