During covid of 2020, Grandy & Associates transitioned into the world of LIVE online teaching. Many of the in person training classes were moved to online and the background production became a priority of my position. Through a variety of technology - zoom, chrome remote, poll everywhere - we developed and ran engaging and interacting live teaching, where I ran the technology in the background. The online training is still a big part of our teaching, but we have also gone back to in person events.In addition, I have taken over the accounting department and manage the payables, receivables, payroll, etc. I still develop E-learning content, as well as, analyze DISC and Driving Force assessments.

I am certified as a Success Insights DISC & Driving Forces Analyst. Utilizing the DISC behavioral model, I bring awareness to individuals and teams about how to effectively communicate with others. The driving forces assessment explains the "why" behind people's actions and brings to light what motivates them. These assessments can also be used by employers to match the right prospects with the right jobs resulting in top performance for the company and satisfaction for the employee.As an e-developer of online training for the skilled trades, I work with the trainers to develop the content, objectives and outcomes. I then bring in the creativity with audio, video, graphics and combine them all to keep the student engaged. Through the Learning Management System (LMS), I keep track of the student's test scores and certificates. Finally, I produce live online training in the studio, managing the audio and video over 2 locations, and interaction with the attendees.

The ARTgarage is a non-profit arts organization that hosts an art gallery, exhibitions, art classes, performances and events. I was hired as the Administrative Liaison and earned a promotion to Director of Operations in less than 1 year. MANAGEMENT AND SCHEDULING* Property manager for 6 tenants overseeing facility care, writing leases and collecting monthly rent.* Successfully scheduled multiple calendars, rooms and staff schedules for exhibits, classes, performances and rentals. * Oversaw and directed daily operations of retail store, staff, website, rentals and advertising.TEAMWORK AND COMMUNICATION* Lead coordinator of the staff in planning and executing 6 multifaceted events composed of visual artists, musicians, presentations, food, beverages, marketing and vendors. FINANCES AND ANALYTICAL THINKING* Handled all the finances, with accuracy and attention to detail, consisting of A/R, A/P, taxes, payroll, and monthly financial reports. * Researched rental facility comparisons and adjusted the prices to be in line with the competitors. Resulted in a 40% increase of revenue.PROCESS AND PROCEDURE DEVELOPMENT* Analyzed current systems and developed over 20 new procedures for efficiency in event rentals, marketing, art classes, on site sales, internal communication and events.PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND CRITICAL THINKING* Curated an exhibition called the Easter Story. 16 local artists created works of art based upon the written scripture and what it meant to them. There were traditional and non-traditional interpretations, and a variety of mediums including photography, mixed media, painting, and 3D displays. This project required securing a sponsor, planning a reception, curating the display and marketing the event which resulted in the highest attended exhibition at the ARTgarage of 580 people. I thoroughly enjoyed leading the Arts Ministry at Heartland church! We pursued excellence in every aspect of the arts - whether it was through the performance of music, the audio and visual production, or the drama productions. I efficiently multi-tasked between overseeing 3 directors and 25 volunteers, operations, advertising, and scheduling. Programmed 52 weekly services each year, coordinated 24 drama productions and directed over 60 events. MANAGEMENT AND SCHEDULING* Implemented scheduling software to manage over 80 volunteers within the church. This involved training, data entry, planning, communication and monthly scheduling.TEAMWORK AND COMMUNICATION * Lead coordinator collaborating with the Church staff in planning the weekly services. Utilized creative thinking, attention to detail, oral communication, and written communication with each staff member. Met weekly deadlines.PROCESS AND PROCEDURE DEVELOPMENT* Improved customer connection process through implementation of data management system. Involved researching software programs, deciding parameters, and implementing product.
