As Consulting Technical Manager at Oracle, I have led and contributed to a range of high-profile projects in the banking sector, including designing and developing central prudential reporting functions for Hungarian Bank Holding (MBH). In this role, I am responsible for consolidating data from different banking source systems and central functions and providing a consistent outgoing data interface to the regulatory reporting data mart.In addition, I have also designed and specified risk control reporting for MBH, incorporating the requirements of various risk functions. As a Product Owner, I led the project to define the scope and initial data model for this function within MBH, resulting in a detailed requirement specification and design for implementation.Another major project I worked on was the design and specification of the MBH Central Data Lake, utilizing Cloud at Customer (exaCC) technical architecture. I played a key role as a lead designer and lead developer for non-database functions, such as Python.Furthermore, I contributed to the Budapest Bank (GE Money Bank) Data Warehouse Program, where I designed and developed a banking data warehouse based on IBM Financial Services Data Model (FSDM) and multiple data marts. During the 10 years in this program, I acted in various roles: Product Owner, Lead ETL Designer, and Lead Data Modeler.Overall, I have a proven track record of leading and contributing to successful projects in the banking sector, leveraging my expertise in data modeling, design, and development, as well as my experience in project management and stakeholder engagement. I work on data integration / data analysis projects. I consult clients and define a feasible scope. I define the architecture and the key design elements. I oversee the detailed design and the development. We use agile methods; on longer term programs with an established team we do 4-5 different development streams parallel, with weekly releases. My primary industrial background is financial reporting in banks, but I also worked a considerable amount of time in mobile telecommunications and in insurance. Some example engagements are: Asset & Liability Management, Anti-Money Laundry, Contributed Value (CV) calculation, IFRS, Revenue Assurance, General Ledger reconciliation, Regulatory Reporting.
